Coltrane's house where he wrote "A Love Supreme" listed among the most endangered in U.S.

It was where one of the all-time greatest jazz albums was recorded. Now, the Coltrane house on Long Island is among the nation’s 11 most endangered historic places. Jazz musician John Coltrane‘s home in Dix Hills, where he wrote “A Love Supreme” in an upstairs bedroom, has deteriorated due to a lack of funds, the National Trust for Historic Preservation said.
